Yeah, Isayama pretty much uses it in every volume to a noticeable degree. Maybe it's just recency bias, but I felt like he started doing it even more often post timeskip.
The first few volumes are full of them, the second one has a flashback within flashback, and they've been greatly improved by WIT going for a more linear approach. And that's beside exposition dumps.
