So what if someone wished for a sandwich or an AA battery or something?

They'd get it and become meguca.

Sandwich appearing from nothing in from of you is a small, but clear violation of reality.

It doesn't have to be. Someone could be like hey i bought this sandwich but I forgot I brought my lunch from home. Here! Take it!

they made someone a god, do they look like they care if rules are broken so long as they get their entropy from it.

you know that it won't happen and kyubei won't look for someone that retarded because isn't a strong wish will

sayukas wish was pretty pathetic. She didn't even wish for his whole body to be healed, only one hand. The guy still had to walk on crutches.
You say kyubei wouldn't look for anyone with trivial wishes but her story says otherwise.

Ok so maybe she only got the chance because she was close to madoka? What if instead of being a fucking retard sayukas mom was an accountant. her dad was a lawyer and together the bent kyubei over a barrel and exploited his little asshole out.

You could make a manga out of that. There probably is a manga about that.

yeah but you can't compare being crippled to a sandwich, there is a difference between a retarded wish and a retarded person. Sakuya was retarded but her wish will was strong

It doesn't really matter what sakuyas wish was. It could be literally anything including a sandwich or a skateboard or whatever because she was close to madoka.
Kyubeis statement in the OP seems to be open to exploitation. What if they wished for something negative? would something positive occur?

I thought about this all the time when I first watched the show. Imagine if Madoka actually did just for a cake, but it turned out to be a flavour she didn't like or it gave her a cavity. That small amount of despair would match the small amount of hope a cake would bring. Would she turn into a witch then and there?

I don't know user. What if sayaka went mental and started blowing up trains killing thousands of people?
It's kinda ambiguous what she did to those 2 dudes on the train maybe she killed them.

The amount of distortion/entropy/despair caused by making a sandwich from magic doesn't surpass the amount created by making meguca.

QB never says they can't make shit out of thin air, they just can't grant certain wishes if the person wishing for it doesn't have an equal or greater amount of "despair" they'll create.
It's explicitly stated user.

Madoka also wishes for a cake in one timeline, so we know it's a non-issue just from that.

>Madoka also wishes for a cake in one timeline
This is new. I haven't monitored the situation since I lost hope of anything coming out after the 3rd movie.

>I wish that the sun will rise again tomorrow morning
what happens?

>The guy still had to walk on crutches
Wasnt it Kyoko or Sayaka did that to him
Kyoko mentioned something like "break his legs lmao"

>Wasnt it Kyoko or Sayaka did that to him
no

What is the current state of the madoka story anyway? Is it parked waiting for a genius writer to take over 50 years from now? wtf are they doing?

This was info from before the movie. It was implied in the original anime and confirmed in the PSP game

that's pretty much what happened to Nagisa

what if I wished to not have my soul put into a little egg, what would qb do

They're in the middle of making a sequel movie to Rebellion. I heard the script for it was written right after Rebellion by Urobuchi but I don't know how true that is.

You eventually become a sandwitch.

I kind of want to see the Madoka anime from your universe

The megucas probably should've clued in they were in a world specifically contrived to make them suffer when they learned the tears of children reverses entropy.

It doesn't reverse entropy, it's just that emotional energy isn't subject to the laws of thermodynamics.

Run it through a monkey's paw with a proxy wish and see what it spits out, Kyubeii have to have a million of those lying around.

I hope they don't fuck it up. Madoka was the only thing that made me feel anything in the last 10 years.
