I like them
they make them really cute and normal looking...but if you've ever seen disabled people in real life you'd see birth defects/genetic disorders (which cause said-disabilities) or they just don't care about their looks because they've given up hopes of being considered normal. so tl/dr; typical japan beautifying and trivializing hard to discuss topics
nah i have high functioning autism + clinical depression and have been hit on before. not physical but still.
ive also met a few normal deaf people. i think the issue is more they can become standoffish or isolated.
planning to start learning asl and volunteer at a local nursing home. hopefully i can find some wholesome people in these places.
