She was pretty instrumental in the fights with Kechizu and ESO. Her technique literally got him to undo his decay poison.
And finally, she was incredibly important to the Mahito fight. Her taking down his double drained like 40% of his power. Yuji and Todo may have done the hand to hand fighting, but Nobara made it possible to actually take him down.

this might be true, but Gege utterly failed at conveying that. would have been much more poignant if Mahito got the upper hand in the last stretch and then was forced to his knees coughing blood while remembering Nobara, providing the ideal opening for the final counterattack.
It could have been done similar to Shinobu trolling Douma in KnY, but mentioning it in passing that "man, I feel weaker because of that girl" doesn't sound very convincing when the fight procedes as normally coreography-wise afterwards.

Nobara's impact happened in the middle of Yuji's fight. He had just gone through Sukuna's rampage and watching Nanami die. Mahito was purposely attacking his psyche as well with human sacrifices. Mentally, Yuji was at the end of his rope and Nobara's surprise assist had a huge impact on Yuji's morale. In addition to the massive damage it did to Mahito. It was implemented very well then.
