Let me take a moment to say that Ai and Junko's friendship is fake. They aren't friends like the promotional material makes you think they are: they only act that way for idol business. In reality, the two girls don't give two fucks about each other. Why do we never see them talking?
Why, after their fight in Season One, did Ai leave Junko to rot in the attic for two weeks, and why didn't she ever apologize to Junko?
Ai wouldn't even tell Junko she wasn't leaving Franchouchou in Revenge, and acts fed up with her. Meanwhile Junko calls Ai a stupid jerk. She was even avoiding Junko in episode 10 of Revenge
It's clear that they hate each other, and that they avoid talking to each other because all they can do is hurt one another.
I for one love that they saw all the shippers were rabidly pushing for that yuri ship more than any other and they went in the exact opposite direction, making their relationship almost entirely devoid of the slightest affection or even basic consideration or understanding. I actually like the meta that they're constantly shipped together and promoted by the management as an adorable lesbian couple without outright saying it like Tatu but their actual situation is that they don't even hate eachother so much as they just want nothing to do with eachother at all outside of work, which is very true to life for many in this kind of position.

Ai is fucking captivated watching Junko perform, what are you on about them not wanting to have anything to do with one another?
And how were episodes 3 and 4 of Revenge not gay as fuck? Junko literally cries on the beach about Ai leaving, and her motivation at Saga Rock is stopping Ai from leaving.
Even if you don't think they're gay, they're clearly close friends
Please back up your claim that they don't want to have anything to do with one another outside of work

>ywn be a shota trap who gets to raw dog your adoptive delinquent boker onee-san every day I mean I could do without the trap shota aspect, but if sacrifices have to be made for Saki so be it
That's just respect for a fellow artist, you can not like someone's personality and still admire their skill, especially when you're in the same field. At their very friendliest they come across as acquaintances through work. I feel op, despite partially shitposting made a valid point or two. When they get along it's not because they're having any actual discourse or connecting on any substantial level, it's because they're getting lost in fun group activities, and anyone can do that. When's the last time the two of them sat down and had an actual conversation without it devolving into them shooting menstrual blood all over eachother and walking off in a huff?
