Not necessarily a scanlation question but does anyone have any tips to share for cropping out the background in anime or manga to create transparent pngs? I’m getting tired of spending almost half an hour of manual selecting though pen tool. Any tips for selection and other setting like smoothness/feather/contrast are welcomed.

How about using the usual logo everyone's familiar with? Meme edits are fine as long as it's still easily recognizable. Not everyone uses filters. The last thread died without even getting halfway to bump limit too.
