So, that's it? Please tell me we didn't wait that long for this.
One Punch Man
Is there still hype?
what killed it?
Smurf is mentally ill.
>no Garou bullying S class
>no Garou threatening to kill a child
Into the trash it goes.
The problem isn't the pay-off, it's the build-up.
Like with , that should be the wrong way to think of a series where the protagonist can end every battle with one punch. The series was killed when Murata forgot that.
>chapter ends with Garou literally remembering Saitama should've been his priority to fight all along
>SO THAT'S IT???
user, you must be retarded
WKTH?
what?
Boros got hit multiple times and you didnt saw a single soul complain about it.
Mostly the real problem is Garou, he ended up becoming something completely different from his webcomig character.
>thinking Filler Redraw King Murata won't milk this fight for 20 chapters
>skipping the S class getting beat up and all the great little bits before the fight
gay
Garou's memory is better in the manga because he remembers Saitama earlier, the punch is enough to jog his memory since it can't knock him out anymore.
Saitama's is worse because Garou's name doesn't immediately ring the bell.
That's unironically more in character for both of them.
>user, you must be retarded
No, just depressed at how this shit went.
Soul.
>screengrab from Smurf's bi-hourly Murata hate rant tweets
Get your own opinions or draw more ass already Smurf
There's a serious lack of tension in the Murata version
Why? Because every chapter ain't 50 pages with no cliffs anymore?
If some of you fags weren't this overdramatically autistic, discussing biweekly releases wouldn't be a problem.
Wait, is this Garou's memory or Saitama's? Because if it's the former that's a plot hole as Garou thought it was King who nailed him.
Why even bother making this a chapter?
Nothing happened.
the shota vs chicken-man fight is one the best fight and most hype fights I have seen in a manga.
Or obviously..........he's realizing it now.
Garou is the same. A misunderstood good guy. Your interpretation was warped.
You have to realize ONE literally called him an antihero even in his early introduction phase. In an S2 interview.
How? All Garou knew is that he rushed King and got instantly smashed through a wall. Why would he suddenly link this to Saitama?
Murata thinks this is dragon ball, he literally said so. So he thinks coolness is the only important factor. He made every fight super cool and over the top, he made Garou's design super cool but he forgot about everything else. There's no tension, Garou isn't scary. Its impossible to take his "i'm going to become the supreme monster" stuff in Murata's version because he has been treated like a joke character for the past 5 chapters
It wasnt supposed to be like this...
Its really fucking dumb. I think Murata thinks that by making Garou see Saitama as a "rival" or something it makes the battle more "epic"
he did saw saitama but didn't pay attention because he is you know, a nobody. On the contrary has a reputation, he just connected the dots. Think a little user.
Are you a cretin, seriously? Garou thought so only because Saitama's punch gave him the gag amnesia.
He can't be knocked out anymore, so he can put 2 and 2 together now.
What caused the hype to decease?
>read one punch man
>a manga that has literally
>LITERALLY
>had the EXACT same joke every
>single
>fucking
>time
>since its FIRST FUCKING CHAPTER
>expecting anything but "LOL HE ONE PUNCHED HIM"
WHY IS EVERYONE WHO READS THIS MANGA SO FUCKING STUPID
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
That final page makes it real obvious Garou is going to associate Saitama with "Justice Man" any moment now
the hype was mostly from fans of the webcomic who want to see a pretty version created by Murata
now they are all fucking pissed only DBStier spics left to praise the manga
>just excuse Murata's plot hole user
Why would Garou connect the dots and not still believe it was "The Strongest Man" who dusted him?
>Garou does some heroics then gets beat up by Saitama before he even gets a chance to LARP against S class
kinobros...it's over
I don't mean his intentions, I mean his interpretations, you can easily compare to the webcomic and see how the presentation is entirely different, the only "hype" this combat has is coming from people that know about the webcomic, not the manga.
I don't read this but are you literally retarded, OP? It's in the title.
Because Saitama one-shot knocked him out multiple times, you dumbass.
Because the manga is tiresome. It's endless meaningless combat.
>DUDE WHAT IF WE MAKE AN ENTIRE ANIME WITH THE TITLE NAMED TOWARDS THE MAIN CHARACTER WHERE HE ACTUALLY NEVER GETS CLOSE TO HIS GOAL OR EVEN PROGRESSES TOWARDS IT AT ALL
>AND THEN WE ADD 69783231 SIDE CHARACTERS ON THE SPOT WHO ACTUALLY HAVE NO CHARACTER AND MAKE THE ENTIRE ANIME ABOUT THEM INSTEAD
genius.
You don't read this manga, right?
Not an answer, retard.
Garou was fixated on King. For all we know, he didn't even notice Saitama. He reasonably assumed it was King who splatted him. There is no reason for him to suddenly realize it was Saitama that kicked him. It's a plot hole and you're a desperate fool for trying to defend it.
This.
Psykos vs Tatsukmaki should have ended sooner, and there's years of filler fighting minor monsters. Only the 4-5 dragon level monsters should have been that relevant
No one is even complaining about that. Do you have brain damage?
Why haven't we've been getting new webcomic chapters?
How far has the webcomic gone? I've only seen the anime but if the entire story has just been building up Garou and Saitama slaps his shit unceremoniously, what do they do after that? It feels like even when Saitama isn't part of the bigger picture, it's inevitably going to end with them interacting with him and getting their shit smoked.
>I mean his interpretations
His what? Interpretations by whom?
Garou posturing, acting intimidating is also the same thing here.
Garou is also blatantly stronger already. For instance, he just displayed frankly outrageous power chopping the fuckhuge centipede in half just like that and he hasn't even fought Saitama.
Saitama and Garou are both being depicted as really strong and similarly "weird", and their actions are even deliberately mirrored, which is exactly what ONE wants.
Blastbro....
user, there's no way a fighter like garou can approach somebody like a retard without notice anyone around specially someone who is literally next to King, he just ignored him. He got heem'd 2 times by this same guy so it makes sense that in the first one was actually him. Stop being a retard
Garou focused on King because King is a famous face you fucking retard. He saw Saitama, he saw Saitama numerous other times too, but couldn't remember him because of a hehe funny amnesia on knockout gag. It doesn't work anymore because he cannot be knocked out now.
Holy kek, you must be severely brain damaged to have so much trouble reading something so obvious.
It can be what ONE wants and thats ok, but it doesnt work, even your favorite mangaka can do a bad user.
In this case it just feels extra weird since he already did a good job on the webcomic.
So, why wouldn't Garou still believe that it was King who got him? Why would he suddenly see that it was Saitama that kicked him (despite the fact Saitama's attack was so fast Garou didn't even process it)?
Come on DBZspics. Do better.
