The Latin American dub of Komi-san was almost great... except they completely dropped the ball on the fact that culturally using first name basis is a big deal, they also added too much Mexican "slang" into the mix, making it not so neutral after all (Mexicans who defend their dub claim it is the most neutral among Latin American dubs which is been proven wrong more than ever.)

This is so true. In many titles, characters speak in super colloquial Japanese that would never end up in a letter, but it's all translated to very standard English with not even things such as “gonna” or “wanna” put into it.
Simply localize it to London English rather than to North-American English to remove any s.j.w. association.
