I was skeptical about having Megumi Ogata as Yuta's VA. Even after reading Vol 0 a while back.
After the first twenty minutes I get why they did it. Yuta is basically Shinji as a Shaman. And Ogata nailed the voice acting. I didnt like Vol 0 much, yet the movie was fucking fantastic. It really got the Demon Slayer treatment

I saw this completely blind. I knew nothing of JJK before this. I was asked to go with a friend who had read up to ch.100 or so to go watch it with him.
The only thing he told me after the movie was that Utah was not the main character and the series is not about him killing demons and getting stronger with his psycho monster demon gf that lives inside him. I was upset.
