I wished Claudine fought Kaoruko and Futaba go up against Maya to show that they can keep up with the people they are chasing. They did Futaba dirty by having her have a slightly similar fight with Kaoruko as the one in the anime.

The giraffe represents the audience (notice you don't see any actual audiences), and the tomato and by extension fruit and veg are the fuel (passion) of the stage girls. The giraffe is made of food because the audience is what fuels the girls passion.
