I wish anime and manga were still written with cool, relatable main characters in mind. This generation's MCs are all losers who cry and whine, don't want to fight, etc.
Some main characters that I like: >Light Yagami >Kaiji >Spike Spiegel >Mugen (Samurai Champloo) >Van (Gun X Sword) >Inuyasha
I don't know the former, but Itadori Yuuji is too optimistic about things to be relatable.
Kaiji gets off because he's a deadbeat who puts his money (literally) where his mouth is. He only cries for a few seconds and then is ready to kick ass at gambling again.

We have people like Saizo Tokito, Edge Seinklaus and Souji Murakumo in the past few years, i think those are enough
Denji is only relatable if yo're a horny twitterteen with a porn-addiction

>Cool >Relatable An oxymoron for you, I presume?
Ryan Rogers
>Van You're a virgin ?
Brandon Allen
Who the fuck cares about relatable main characters? Isn't that boring to you? Generally speaking, I've found that characters I don't easily relate to are more interesting. I fucking hate the standard spineless anime MC in teenage-aimed shows, though, whether shounen or shoujou. Why do they do this? >ah, gomen, gomen
Samuel Baker
>Yuji >Optimistic
Christopher Lopez
>cool >relatable Those things don't work together and you're a retard if you think so
