what even was the "theme" of bleach, it was just cool sword magic people, it never pretended to be anything more

ichigo was dealing with survivor's guilt when his mom died saving him , he went full circle with that around the end of the soul society arc.

Dragon ball is the ONLY manga wich halfway through ages goku from like 10 to 30 and still kept going , none , not even one shounen can dare try this instead you get an incel ending (snk) crying for pussy .

>betray the original theme
>fma
Huh? Judging by you putting Naruto there, is this another one of those "muh hard work vs talent fallacy" schizo threads or what?

Bring me the Legendary Space Warrior.

Wait, how does FMA betray it's themes or pull some retarded shit?

>I have read only 5 manga: the post

kys spic

>Edward beats a literal colossal tier monster using the power of friendship.
>laws of equivalent exchange completely went down the drain with the latter asspull and uses beyond retarded typical shounen tropes.
ironically the anime only ending is the only that doesn't betray the original premise but it doesn't count since it's not canon.

>Full of crap the address
>A literal 100 of thousands and more people and the strongest in Amestris manage to beat the Big Bad who was too full up his rear to not mess around
>The loe is kept well and the bros decide to go over it in the end to make a positive change in the world
>No isekai BS

>Edward beats a literal colossal tier monster using the power of friendship.
Power of friendship my ass. Father was drained of all his energies thanks to Von Hoeniem's trickery and everyone there was stalling. If "everyone stall against the main boss" is considered Power of friendship, than the ending of KnY is too.
>laws of equivalent exchange completely went down the drain with the latter asspull and uses beyond retarded typical shounen tropes
How? The law was still there, I don't see how sacrificing your own ability to produce alchemy is by any mean a lesser payment than eyesight, libs and organs.

the pain of self-sacrifice
>Ichigo's mom died protecting him
>Orihime's brother's protectionism being twisted into murderous obsession as a hollow
>Chad's granpa making him swear off using his fists to hurt people but instead to use them to protect
>Rukia agreed to be arrested and executed to spare Ichigo
>Ichigo risked his soul to regain his powers and became a criminal trespassing the realm of death to save Rukia
>Orihime surrendered to the Espada to protect Ichigo
>Ichigo straight up died against Ulquiorra trying to save her
>Ichigo giving up his powers to defeat Aizen
>Ishida giving up his normal life and friendships to get close to Ywch and find a way to defeat him so he doesn't kill everyone
Nearly every step of the way revolves around someone sacrificing themselves and everyone close to them finding the idea so intolerable that they leap in to sacrifice themself out of guilt and/or empathy
OP, of course, is an idiot

>Edward beats a literal colossal tier monster using the power of friendship.
You mean he got the last hit on father after he was being bombarded by practically an entire army and fucked over by Hohenheim.

You just described the ending of naruto , instead of madara replace him with ''Dwarf in the Flask''' and that's literally it , edward doesn't pay any price for beating him wich renders the premise of equivalent exchange into a turd sandwich , it could have been so much more , edward vs father is goku vs majin buu tier ,the ''isekai bs '' was the price edward paid to save his friends , remember this next time u decide to read fma and reach , remember that you are reading dragon ball rip off .

>bleach
Kill yourself, spammer.

I don't see how Ed didn't pay a price? Alchemy was always a large part of his life since he was a toddler.

It's too bad Toriyama let Toei make a cash grap anime sequel to his masterpiece manga TWICE.

Because Ed journey isn't about beating Father, it was never his original intentions. The sacrifice must make sense with the characters motivations. Ed entire journey is to learn that live isn't just about cold formula and restore his brother body. It make sense that his sacrifice if from saving his brother, not beating the big bad

>edward doesn't pay any price for beating him
He pays a price to gain his brothers body back, which is what the plot is about.

he gave up alchemy, which is priceless, something not a single person that had seen the gate had both the insight and guts to think of doing
