Current arc feels definely fresher without so many KILL CHILD moments and ten legendaries on-screen at the same time, but I have trouble liking Sou. I love pic related, though

SwSh is a nice relaxing, basic story after three arcs of What-the-fuck-is-going-on-that-nigga-is-fucking-DEAD.
I like how casual Sou and Schilly are about the gym challenge since they're only doing it so Schilly can find her pokemon. At the same time it's kinda dumbing what little story there was from the games.

The XY gang had it bad, really. The only one who was 1:1 with his game counterpart was Tierno and even then most of his bubbly personality got toned down because of the terrible situation at hand.

I like how this is slight foreshadowing for some of the stuff that'll be mentioned later.
I didn't play SwSh but this manga actually quite tempted me, along with some of the stuff I've seen. I figure that if the manga is this flat then the game must be fucking nothing though.

Do really love all the different flavors of story each arc offers. You got Manzai kino with DPPT, romance with BW, KILL CHILD depression arc with XY and the almighty fuggening of ORAS
