I would recommed anime. Top-tier OPs and EDs, good animation, got script that expand in things. I appreciate the thing to have an actual final boss

Anime, and it's not even close. The manga and anime are more of less the same in S1, but anime's S2 is way better than the manga.
I'll make it clear. Clamp didn't deliver on the finale. The anime fixed it by making an actual final boss.
