Still do.

As a comedy, yes.
>beater
>Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer is a sad song
>murder guilds
>tentacle molestation
>the thirstiest blacksmith
>Sandwich-kun, nooooooo!
>guy murders his wife because she learned to stop being a submissive fuckdoll
>Yui
>the villain literally forgot his own motive

i liked the porn from it

no, I dropped it when that melodramatic death happened. I was genuinely surprised that it got popular.

Reminder.

>Villain forgot his own motive
Except he didn't. He was being nostalgic, retard. He stated his motive on the first episode.

this

Oh fuck, how did I forget about GLOP GLOP? Amazing.

Then why did he claim he forgot? Fuck is the point of that?

based

Yeah. I liked sao, thought alfheim was shit, gun gale was also shit so I dropped it. Then tried it again because my friend kept hyping up mothers rosario and I heard good things about it and he was right mother's rosario carried that second season. Alicization was great though

I still like it.

>hear it get shit on forever
>watch GGO in 2018 because guns
>Wonder what happened with the "SAO incident" they talk about so I read wiki articles
>Hmm maybe I should watch an episode of the show for some context and see how they escaped the game

And I regret not having watched it sooner because my god I loved it and am now reading Unital Ring books and can't get enough.

Asuna is the true mary sue

No, I wasn't a newfag who just discovered what a self insert power fantasy was and either had a hate boner for it or loved it. I had forgotten it existed like I did just a few moments ago.

I only have problem with aliceization and onwards. It really tries to be a battle shounen with asspulls.

Yes. Progressive was made for fags who were so engulfed in the story that they wanted more. They didn't want it to end. They wanted it to continue like a Shounen. They complained about how they couldn't watch the inbetweens. They wanted to be Kirito. They self inserted like it was a VN. They wanted to be there beside the characters. They wanted to escape reality and live in the virtual world that is SAO. But, in the end, this series should really have ended at episode 14 for a strong finale. Afterwards it slowly entered soulless territory until you have that disaster that is Alicization.

I thought it was overrated by its fans but did like it.
I actually sat down for a rewatch recently and thought it over and realized Kirito wasn’t as badly written of a character as I initially thought. So it went from a 7/10 to me to a solid 8/10, maybe even an 8.5.
Yeah, I know it doesn’t really have anything big or exciting to say (hence me giving it a hard denial of a 9/10) but it’s a fun ride, and sometimes that’s enough.

No. I will admit that I didn't start disliking it until episode 4. I can't remember when I realized I outright hated it but it was definitely before episode 10.

>Then why did he claim he forgot?
It was an attempt to make the villain seem contemplative and sympathetic and a more complex character but instead it ended up just being stupid.

The only part of that entire show was in the first episode, where it showed the young teenage couple constantly flirting with each other and being all lovey-dovey. Then the admin makes it so every character in the game world looks like they do in real life and the couple turns into two old pedos who yell in surprise at each other "You're not a little girl!" "You're not a little boy!"

Legit got a good chuckle out of me.

Rest of the series is shit.
