the latest episode of Shenmue was amazing, i wasn't expecting it
it really felt like Shenmue AND it was exciting.
i noticed there was a lot of innuendo, the game was way more subtle and the characters were shy, but everyone in this anime wants to fuck Ryu, wtf, i ain't complaining but jeez is it noticeable!

Sweater girl? You mean Nozomi, pic related? Yeah she is, but they changed her design slightly to match her original concept art. She looks markedly different from her game version. In fact, her personality is slightly different and I love her more in the anime.

Joy in the game only truly became worried and cares for Ryo once we reach Kowloon, but I guess they brought over that development earlier in this adaptation. I remember Joy being an annoying busybody in the game for the first half.

it seems like one per episode, so far at least, and like i said in the OP i really like how they did it here, it felt properly fleshed out, Ryu learns this one through the master the student and even Joy, and this gets him closer to being trained by Leesho Tao

If you ever walk around Dobuita some of the women will just come onto Ryo and he'll awkwardly brush them off, I think it depends on who you talk to though. I know when Ryo is looking for a ticket to Hong Kong you can talk to some random woman he knows and she'll say they should go to Paris together since it's so romantic.
In Shenmue 2 you can walk past a cafe with 4 women sitting outside and everytime you talk to them they constantly come on to Ryo and ask him to sit down even though he just wants directions.
Shenmue 3 does it the most, talking to any 30-40 year old woman working on a stall will just have them constantly flirt with Ryo.
