Did you know that the version I want to watch isn't fully subtitled? So I guess I won't watch it, and I'll only glance wistfully at Moomin threads and wonder about all the joy I'm missing out on.
ask on ylilauta for some help
It can't be helped, unless there are full English subtitles that I don't know about.
>they all are amine
No they aren't, there's a bunch of weird-ass European adaptions

I'm personally only familiar with the 90s anime, though
There's tons that aren't anime, the most well-known ones are anime
mostly 3d and stop motion aren't
2D are animnine
user, are you ok
huh?
Polish stop-motion adaptation is quite charming imo.
Current CG adaptation is okay but tonally it feels off, like a modern primetime Bong drama
one time I went to a cinema to watch 3D stop motion Moomins back in 2008 or 2009 and I was only one in the theater and even a girl in a cash register looked at me weird and smirked
oh well, who cares
>user had a stroke mid-post
Well, it's directed by a bong apparently, one of the Aardman people.
what I want to know is why it STILL isn't fucking translated
Who would win?
Obviously 1990 Moomin
Basically the same issue as Pokemon - the people who love it the most are generally casual nostalgiafags who refuse to accept it's not a cartoon and call others weeaboos for wanting to watch it in Japanese, and people who would sub stuff tend to overlook kids shows.
dyslexic?
90s Moomin shot a fucking Phoenix.
nah he's just from [s4s]
