It takes place in summer of the third year of junior high school. The last summer for Takagi and Nishikata's junior high school life.
The movie will be out in theaters starting June 10th 2022.

Even if it is a "fight", I think it's going to be like what she had with her mom in season 2.
And I am hoping to see a confession this season, but it's going to make more sense for it to be in the movie. Or maybe the movie is about them being on an actual date as a couple, who knows.
