Whenever I saw videos like that, I was always annoyed at them but apparently, I had the capacity to be worse.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to appreciate Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku. The humour is extremely subtle, and without an understanding of battle harems and yuri visual novels most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Ichinomiya Eruna's baka outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Nico Nico videos, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes and awkward moments, to realise that they're not just funny or inconvenient- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depth of Eruna's existential catchphrase "Let's go to the nurse's office!" which itself is a cryptic reference to the nursery profession to Doki Doki Literature Club. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Last Note's genius wit unfolds itself on their screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
