Just started watching Slayers s2 and on episode 5 now as of writing this. I made a post about slayers in the last pre-2000s thread so I'll keep this one short. I must concur with the general sentiment that s2 is better than the first, cause it already is. And I enjoyed the first very much. Though I do feel that Zelgadis was written out of character and regressed a little from the first season

From reading my own post I suppose I'm very blessed and have tons of things lined up for when I crave it. Detective Conan (only read through the manga, about 170 episodes into the anime), Slayers (halfway through S2) and other Rumiko Takahashi works. I've felt like I haven't been enjoying anime lately but maybe I've just been holding back on these instead of indulging a bit (I usually try to slow down my watching of shows I love so that I can always turn to it when I need it most and not just waste the experience binging it). Fuck I forgot I even feel this way about Dirty Pair too.
Gonna go watch some anime now.
