2003 is a complete experience. Brotherhood is not

Brotherhood fans will commonly justify the weak opening episodes by saying that it's okay because it was done elsewhere. All that means is that 2003 is ultimately a complete experience that requires no additional resources, while Brotherhood rides off the coattails of 2003.

Yes

they form a complete experience together but you already knew that

Why the fuck can't you watch and enjoy both? Both have their merits. How many other series are lucky enough to get two 50+ episode adaptations taking the story in very different equally watchable directions, complete with endings? To this day people still clamor for their favorite manga to get the "Brotherhood treatment." What autism compels people to keep up this pointless feud? Or do I have this backwards, and this is just what happens when people who have only ever watched a handful of anime and refuse to go deeper in the medium need to make up something to argue over?

This is the explanation for 90% of Any Forums threads.

Why do you keep making this thread?

Lol, 2003 doesn't need Brotherhood. It's only "together" when it benefits Brotherhood.

who cares. this trite argument is shit

Will anons ever get over this argument? They both have their flaws but are still great

If you really think you're correct then you wouldn't post baits like this everyday. Sounds like you're just insecure

Weak opening>>>>>>>Weak ending

>2003
Not canon/fanfic
>Brotherhood
CANON

Brotherhood is weird, because the latter portions are done better than the manga, but the manga absolutely trumps the beginning part.

Yes.

>03
Good storytelling.
>Bro
It gets the participation award.

Justify '03's limp pathetic ending then.

It's not even that. Those fucking morons praise Brotherhood for being "faithful" and a "proper" adaption while also overlooking the filler and cut content across the board, not just the starting episodes.

The whole 03 vs. Brotherhood debate doesn't even need to exist because there's no reason to watch Brotherhood over reading the manga. None.

Not wrong.

I disagree
