It was fucking beautiful! Couple of questions though.
>Did Yuu die after getting stabbed by some cuck?
>Did Mai get gangraped?
I just finished Holyland
Yes
No
>>Did Yuu die after getting stabbed by some cuck?
no
>Did Mai get gangraped?
yes
well which is it
Yeah what this guy said.
No one got gangraped and no one died and they lived happily ever after
Megu got gangbanged for drugs. Who knows what Shougo did for drugs too.
He didn't die. The final chapter was just setting you up for the "twist" when he appeared, and even showed the scar from him surviving the stabbing.
A reoccuring theme in the last arcs were people who graduated from the streets, who found meaning in the "real world". Yuu had the choice to give in, to never leave the streets where found purpose, joy, and friends. Which what all the flashbacks showed. But he pressed on, because he wasn't the same weak person who needed the streets any longer. He graduated.
> even showed the scar from him surviving the stabbing
Oh shit you're right. How did I miss that? I really thought the ending was a tragic. Well that just made my day. Now did Mai get gangraped and Shin and Shougo just shut up about it (Mai was too drugged to remember anything) fearing Yuu might go on a matyrdom operation for justice?
>I really thought the ending was a tragic.
Yeah, personally I felt the author really reached to make that twist. Either they should have quit at the penultimate chapter for ambiguity, or just showed a big happy ending in the final instead of pretending he's dead for 90% of it. Like the gang waiting outside for Shougo and going to the match together.
>gangbang
Didn't get that impression myself. If that was the intention it would have been telegraphed more obviously I think.
He's got a scar right where he got stabbed so he clearly survives.
Unless ghosts can have scars?
No; no.
No to both.
No he lived but from memory from like 10 years ago it was like he was in contact with the girl but also everyone acted like he was missing to make the twist work kinda. But I might be wrong.
She sure as hell molested a bit but I don't think it was any rape.
>Did Mai get gangraped?
I doubt it. I'm sure they would have mentioned it if so. They were pretty explicit about what they did with the other girl.
I loved holyland but I hated the ending so much. They kidnapped and drugged your girl and got your best friend imprisoned and you just let the jackass walk off? Come on man. Then there's the whole 'is he dead' nonsense at the end. It would have been one of my favourites if the ending didn't piss me off so much
I still joke about becoming a streetfighter at night with my friends.
Yes I always really love the movie Taxi Driver.
I'm a Leo too for what that's worth.
Basically I'm pretty Kino
What are your thoughts on this guy? I remember him being a Bro to the MC; but didn't he job like 24/7? Was he cool?
Yagi was the one that did the kidnapping and god knows what Yuu did to him under that bridge
He jobs until he uses the non meme karate
>Guys try to kidnap Mai
>Yuu goes apeshit and literally starts trying to fight a moving car
I thought he was actually going to kill someone
He probably got his ass beaten then raped.
I remember laughing at that. Yagi and his homies were shitting themselves in the car after Yuu howled like a fucking werewolf.
