Toriyama really was not kind to the saiyans after Z was done. Good god, this is all terrible. People used to look up to Goku and the other saiyans as peak shonen masculinity and chadness. 21st Century Toriyama managed to upend all that made this warrior race kino and make them the biggest bitches in the universe. Not even the Shamoians got this raw a deal, and I don't think anyone can explain why this happened.
