Luffy won't be the literal reincarnation of Joyboy, right? I mean, Oda would never do something like that, right?
One Piece
What’s happening to luffy right now is external
You can't convince me the Oda that's been writing the series this far is even the same person writing Wano, it's physically impossible.
O MY RUBBER FRUIT!
>one piece is now worse than bleach
>one piece is now worse than fairy tail
>one piece is now worse than naruto
bros...
You think the old Oda died and got replaced?
t. speedreading trannies
People will defend this asspull
Which stage are you on?
>Be Luffy
>Joyboy takes over your life
>Crew you worked so hard to put together likes him better because he's not a retard like you
>Joyboy achieves what you wouldn't and fucks Shirahoshi, Hancock, Vivi and any over women he desires with your body
>He gets all the credit for all the achievements you worked so hard to accomplish.
>Gets cucked out of being pirate king
another one to add to the luffy being called the devil collection
Will probably be just a typical shonen possession thing.
Posting again for posterity.
Kinda like when the Terminator franchise was basically covered for all sorts of sequels and spinoffs. Kyle Reese said something along the lines of "one possible future". Story was covered to either let Luffy be his own person or end up becoming the fated one, and given the time between then and now, Oda had plenty of time to decide how he wanted to do it. Speed readers are just mad.
I don't think Luffy will take too kindly to being a part of a cycle and having his success be predetermined. Might be pissed when he learns the truth, and sees the giant straw hat in the freezer.
Imagine the smell of the person who made this image
Boy am I glad I will never sink to such depths
OTama sex
Bargaining
I made the image and I smell like Hugo Boss
Reason why Luffy became Joyboy is because he gave his best.
Just like Joyboy gave his best to fulfill his promises.
That's the lesson here to truly live a fulfilling life do your best and only then can you unlock the best of yourself.
Eating with Bonney!
Only went through Bargaining and Acceptance
This.
One Piece has always had something of a Fate vs Free Will theme, and this has been apparent in the backstories for characters like Nami, Sanji, Law, and Robin. Plus, the main villain is a fatalist. I don't see them playing the Chosen One trope straight
Certified Goda moment
You smell like a dead german dude?
Just as I suspected
Wano/following arcs/ending are probably what Oda come up first when making outline for One Piece. So it will be full of edgy "teenager's first story" type of tropes.
Luffy's ironically saying the opposite of Kaido here.
Kaido aims to die while Luffy is living for the sake of life
reminder that we are in the part of the story that oda has been wanting to write ever since he initially thought of one piece - everything else up until now was him getting side tracked
so you smell like someone who has been dead for 74 years
>edgy
Nigger have you READ early One Piece
I was an acceptance Chad from the start.
Yeah Blackbeard, the villain, was on the side of fate and Luffy was on the side of free will but now Luffy was always the predestined chosen one reincarnation of joyboy and there's nothing he can do about it. Every "choice" he makes will just lead him to his destiny.
>oda foreshadow the unconscious mind taking over with cavendish and hakuba
>oda warned us of this
he is going full Carl Jung on one piece
All the more reason to subvert it then, right?
To me he is joyboy because he has a free spirit and is able to face dire situations with a smile, like Kaido pointed out. He came very close from stop being joyboy when Ace died though, and that is probably the point where the futures divide
BOSS NO 1 Eau de Toilette
How? Luffy is a slave to fate now, there's nothing he can do that will change that, even killing himself will just allow Joyboy to take over his body and finish the job.
