For a moment it looked exactly like the Fortress in KnY. But I do like the spider nest look.

He's double cheeked up. Also he'll be the first to die because that's how shonen works. Imagine getting chased by someone calling you a snacky snack. funny as shit. And this chapter was dark asf. Glad the author finally showing on screen deaths now. I know the kids reading this week is like wtf. Doesn't have that axe pacing feel yet, but we'll see next chapter.
