How is it bad? Magic is more powerful the more it's impossibile for human science to have the same result. True Magic is the stuff that humans could never achieve without using magic, like time travel, dimension shifting etc. Also the Earth and humanity both have separate collective consciousness that will act if one of them gets in danger summoning powerful heroes or beasts
