The Zero-Two/Hiro relationship was by far the weakest aspect of that show.

I remember trying to watch this 3 or 4 times due to the hype around it, but I never made it past 2 episodes, always got bored.

To be with ZeroTwo basically means isekaing yourself into Hiro. So everything will work for people who like her.
