Have you ever changed your mind on a manga or anime upon revisiting it years later? if so which works?
I hated it at first but I now genuinely think pic related is one of the greatest manga of the last decade

Clannad. On original release, it was easily top 5 slice of life. Now it's cringekino at best
I HATED Gunbuster the first time I watched it. Now it's one of my favorite anime ever and I rewatch it every year.
I used to love HxH but after getting into the /film/ rabbit hole I now find myself hating esoteric power system and narration autism, I grew very fond of a "show don't tell" approach, whenever I rewatch the chimera arc (which was my favorite) I simply feel like Togashi is spoonfeeding me everything instead of just letting me figure out what's going on with minimal dialogue and simple visual storytelling.
Probably also one of the reasons I too love Fire Punch.
HxH is shit but you're retarded
very insightful reply, thanks user
No, I never change my mind on anything, if I like it then I like it, if I don't like it I never revisit it
Kino
modern Odyssey
If I find out it's popular I stop liking it
>My life is a giant cireclejerk with myself
lmao
Yes.
DBZ was the shit when I was 11, but now I loathe it for being the most formulaic garbage schlock ever to be made into an anime.
yes
It's possible to like something you didn't like at first, but I don't think it's possible to dislike something you liked before, at least not genuinely
See
I don't think that user is being honest, I think you can acknowledge that something you liked wasn't all that good, but no way can you deny your enjoyment, this user seems to "loathe" DBZ, implying he feels some sort of disgust because of an arbitrary notion of "superior taste" he acquired throughout the years, this mostly happens in people who try way too hard to define themselves through the shows they currently watch.
I guarantee that once that user grows out of his pseud phase he'll be able to enjoy things like DBZ once again without feeling insecure about it
>y-yes I'm a manchild
lmao
>realizing something you enjoyed is actually dogshit is totally impossible, if you aren't a dumb redditor with a braindead obsession for the garbage you watched as a child, you're a pseud
Nothing else to expect from 30 years old who watch children cartoon and argue about it I guess
I was a commie when I was 12
15 years later I can tell you that realizing that communism is dangerously retarded was probably one of the best things to happen to me
If I ever grow out of my pseud phase and start looking back fondly on Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot, I hope there will be someone to knock my fucking jaw out
>being political at the age of 12
you weren't a commie, you were a fucking retard
All commies have the brain of a 12 year old, user
>y-your only interest at 12 s-should be cartoons and v-video games
>a-actually at 24 too
Good goyim
pretty much everyone who identifies personally with a strict political ideology is mentally 12
