Awful until that godlike ending.
I stopped reading after ORAS so I'm gonna be completely blind going into Sun and Moon, and Sword and Shield. I hope they're good, but I heard the former is rough.

Well yes, BW2 for all it's faults has arguably one of the highest high points in this entire Manga, along with a lot of crazy shit. Remember, for as brutal as the FUGGENING IS, Ghetsis still almost beat N to death.

I don't know what to think about this arc.
It's entertaining, alright, but holy shit, there's so much happening.

FUG really saved the arc tho

Rereading ORAS has made me realize one thing; and it's that the BW arcs are really isolated from their surroundings.

What I mean is that ORAS (alongside XY) has copious amounts of references for every single arc from Red to Emerald, while also providing plot-relevant callbacks to both DPPt and XY. As for BW? We only get some Unova Pokemon and the dude from the game who mumbles about his region's legendary duo, and that's it.

An arc only shoujostacies can appreciate.

They never explain why the fuck Maxie and Archie looked different from their old counterparts

This makes me wonder if Kusaka ever planned on having Sird and Giratina work together at one point, but I guess we'll never know.
