How come Yu Yu Hakusho is so much better than HxH?

Because Togashi wrote Yusuke to resemble a relatively normal person rather than the psychopath Gon is. He tries to stray from traditional storytelling but traditional storytelling is so common cos it works and Yusuke and Kuwabara are both amazing characters that put Gon and Killua to shame

what better characters? every character is an archtype with some punchlines, some have a small backstory. nothing coming close to the depth of the main cast in HxH. Kurama could be the sole exception.
