There is no way it will end up being good. People don't want canon, they all imagine Miku differently and there is no way to please everyone. Even if they do it episodic based on songs, it just won't be very interesting for anyone who isn't already into it and will mostly likely flop. And I don't want to see her sexualized for cheap ecchi they'd probably put in anyway.
Miku is better left ambiguous, appearing here and there in all sorts of less centralized/official media.
