As much as I love horror manga, most horror anime is shit. There are exceptions like shiki, but most suck

Like: shounen, spokon, romcom, SoL.
Dislike: isekai, harem and most things that people call "deconstruction"

I like anything that isn't blatant wish fulfilment or melodramatic misery porn

I think I speak for all of us when I say we really like stuff that is filled with gays and blacks but hate racist anime that is too white or cis-normative like K-on or Demon Slayer

I like anything that's a good story. In fact, I pay so little attention to genres I sometimes don't know which one a story belongs in.
I generally avoid romcoms because because romance is boring unless there's other things going on in the story. That, and all most of them seem to do is generate salt. Same thing I said before applies.

there were 0 moments in the whole show that felt scary
