What were Satasoshi Kon's favorite stories. I don't mean like, what were the favorite anime he worked on, what were the favorite anime he watched, books he read, music he listened to. Like what made him such a compelling story teller.
It's always so sad. When something bad happens in a Kon story its always more tragic than you're anticipating. It's so sad.
Satasoshi Kon
He was a fan of Clint Eastwood and Jean Claude Van Damme films.
>Like what made him such a compelling story teller.
He's not, he's a mid tier
sure, faggot
>completely dodges the main question
>only to cry over the last bit of opinionated part of the text
>replies with own opinion and movies nobody cares about
Why are all of you guys the fucking same
Other than Millenium Actress his stuff isn't that good outside of the visuals.
>Why are all of you guys the fucking same
The good threads can't be found from a phone, so you're only seeing the garbage.
Perfect Blue, Paprika, Paranoia Agent, Patlabor 2, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, Memories- and you didn't like anything but the visuals?
>Memories
Didn't he only write the script for the first segment? And I love Magnetic Rose, but what makes that short is the direction and art.
well the first segmnet was the part worth watching
the whiplash to the 2nd being a 'comedy' was jarring
and the third- eh- didn't finish it\
but the set up for magnetic rose was really well done.
I like all three of them, but I am always hesitant to recommend Memories as a whole because of the later two shorts.
>has 2 Satoshi Kon films in the chart
What did he mean by this (other than the fact that he doesn't look at the images he uses to shitpost and is probably from Mauritania)?
Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers are both excellent
Genius. Satoshi Kon was gifted.
Satasoshi Kon entire career in one statment: What if dreams...but real? But also, maybe not?
>Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
The fuck are you talking about
Some great anime in this list. 80s and 90s best decades. 84 what a kino year. 86-89 and 95-99 also great. Millennium actress is my favorite Satoshi Kon film but Perfect Blue is what I would suggest as the first Satoshi Kon film to watch.
That list is trying so hard that the first half of it is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit tier shit.
I would remove a lot of things from here, expecially frome the early years (Astro Boy / 8 Man / Sally / 1001 Nights / Manga Nihon) and add a lot of missing quality titles, expecially from 2000 afterwards, also going beyond 2008.
He was a director on the old Part 3 OVAs
but they are actually real or are they? yeah they aren't are you okay? huh? what?
