Jujutsu Kaisen - is it overrated by its fans?
It's not very accurate, no, the only over-explained pseudo-science is with Gojo's infinity, and only in the volume extras. In the manga itself Gojo's techniques are "explained" fairly concisely in a way that gives the reader an impression instead of an understanding. Same with Projection Sorcery, in fact I would argue that could have used a bit more of an elaborate explanation.
Nice art, though.
it's not just pseudo-science, it's over explained in general, science or not
why did he do this? did he think this is enjoyable to the readers?
Kek this 100%
sup jeremy, how it feels to know MHA will die this year and go down as a B-tier jump series at best, without ever achieving big three status like pic related?
The fuck are you talking about homonigger? Go back to your general.
Oh wait, there isn't one, so that's why you came here to cry.
AIEEEEEEEEEEE ANYTHING BUT THAT PIC
He wants to be like HxH so bad
This one is bad, but one of the only times it's happened. Basically felt like one of those bad Jojo chapters
literally who character movie surpasses MHA by 700 million holy based GODta
even the art style is similar
>jeremy thread
Should i start?

No but seriously, why does no one care about JJK? The spoilers threads are so goddamn slow.
I'm the OP and for me it's just fucking boring. The characters are as deep as Overwatch characters and you have to be as mentally ill as Overwatch characterfags to give a shit about anything the JJK characters are doing.
Spoilers are just things like
> Yuta bites a cockroach
What can you discuss? The threads would just look like
> YOOOOO HE BIT HIM THAT'S LITTY FR FR
> The metaphysics of the cursed energy behind the bite must be reversed cursed juxtaposed intrinsic inherent field battoujutsu Minazuki-line curse right? That's my theory
> NOBARA WILL BE BACK WITH POWERUPS
> [Geto images] (good thing he got banned)
Trust me bros. It is BC and not MHA that will really set him off.
the characters aren't very likable so it doesn't have as many obsessed deranged spamming characterfags like other series, and exciting stuff rarely ever happens.
I can explain this.
You have to follow a series of rough propositions, though.
> 80% of the people in the world are stupid. (see any bell curve ever)
> In other words if anything gains a large audience, odds are it's because the creator won the 80% over.
> The majority of these 80% do not have inner voices. They cannot visualize anything in their head. Critical thinking is a huge effort for them so they almost never do it.
> When one of these people (most people) sees the page you're referring to, their head just goes blank.
> They skim the words and lines. They don't want to assume they're stupid, so they pretend they understand.
> Then to compensate (to cope for feeling like they're stupid) they subconsciously parade the manga around as sophisticated and deep
> This spreads the mental virus to more of the flock of blind sheep
> Until 20% (or less) of the population is left very confused at the latest trend
> That is why pages like this work well and can be """enjoyable""" to fans
∎
I suppose JJK can be a bit complicated. Not for its learned fanbase of course. But for others, sure, I can sympathize. It is our noblesse oblige
kek jjkfags turned the other hate thread into a general and now OP's trying to have another go at it. i wonder if its gonna happen again
Making my way through it now, but so far I feel like it was. The way people went on about it I was expecting something more than just "another shonen". I found myself getting a little bored and I couldn't understand why. I read other shonen and enjoy those tropes and cliches just fine. I eventually realized it was because I was waiting for some moment to blow me away like people talked about. If I had just went in with normal expectations, I think I could have got more naturally invested in it. It's the same problem that happened with Demon Slayer, the hype hurt my experience. I feel like people overrate it just because people die in it, which is a way of thinking I've always had a problem with. Maybe if I just keep pushing on I'll get to something that'll hook me like my favorite stories have.
Your experience is a very common one for anyone at least a few deviations about average intelligence.
What manga are you a fan of?
>Basically felt like one of those bad Jojo chapters
I need to find the source but I'm pretty sure Gege himself came out and said he fucked up this and was trying to make a play on Jojo powers but fucked up big timie
jeremy is a MHAfag, that's why he constantly falseflags as a BC/JJK/KnY fan in his bait threads
the moment you point that out he starts having a meltdown like pic related
