There were "Custodians" who created life on Earth. One of them, Shem-ha, wanted to use all humans as parts for her gaming computer, so she embedded herself into human language. Enki, another Custodian and a filthy console peasant, was jealous of her framerates, so he installed Language Jammer on the moon, but got killed in the process.
Fine, a human who was following Enki's streams, because of Language Jammer lost the ability to talk with him (also she didn't know he died), so she started searching for ways to create Language Jammer Canceller. Her discoveries were:
- songs emit so called Phonic Gain that can do anything as long as Nana Wills It,
- singing to the artifact changes you into mecha musume AKA Symphogear,
- Way to create The Noise, cute monsters that turn you to coal if you're not singing to them,
- Alchemy, which also can do anything, but uses memories as a fuel.
She then embedded herself into human souls and set trigger to wake her if somebody sings to an artifact.
Symphogear is the story how Fine makes giant cannon and charges her laser to destroy the Language Jammer on the moon, but fails,
Symphogear G is the story how Last Action Hero accidentaly slams the moon into Earth, but fails.
Symphogear GX is the story how Eternal Loli tries to alchemically disenchant Earth, but fails.
Symphogear AXZ is the story how Tranny Trio tries to prepare for Custodian's return, but fails.
Symphogear XV is the story how Custodians return, but fail.
