This shows how obsessed Saike's become now, any normal person would be traumatized about using that oracle after it internally tore them apart to near death but Saike couldn't be more excited about it again. Even Hizu and Ana is showing concern about this.
I've compared Mikan to Suzuki Sakura before, but she's had far more screen time and involvement in the story than he ever did.
Whether she's had significantly more relevance, though... that's debatable.

This does resolve one thing that bothered me about Law of Ueki
Namely, there didn't seem to be much attention paid to, for instance, full-grown trees appearing where they shouldn't. (Unless the God Candidates were in charge of cleaning up after their contestant's messes? I can see that, But Tell Us, yes? Just like how if the point is that Celery Beasts are So Convenient because a God literally made them that way aeons ago, okay, but Tell Us. That's not the type of thing you should leave to readers to extrapolate, since they're already inclined to find it BS.)
