I think the big problem here is that he seems to refuse to listen to the people who would actually be living in the houses. It's highly likely that this is going to create problems that could've easily been avoided but are hard to deal with later on.

I don't understand why either. In a world where dragons and other flying monsters are common occurrences, you would expect people to build underground cities as a defense mechanism against air raids.

Typically requires a level of tech most isekais are unwilling to do. Which is a shame since it's a fun idea. Farming area would be the biggest problem if you don't want to do that topside. And construction would have some problems as would moving all the shifted earth and then supporting the created area would require time and resources. Magical or otherwise.

Recently I'm playing Sims 4, so i kinda curious where he gonna put stair or ladder ? Also that's looks like 3x3 house, which is very small. You need 3 stories if you want it works. Rabbit also breed a lot, so where you put the babies. They can put one child policy tho
