Man this was a good anime. It wasn't trying to live up to the games and for a middle budget anime produced in the 2000s, it looks pretty good. I had genuine enjoyment and binged through it in a day. Good stuff.

It had like 4 good episodes. The first one, the queen of rock one, lady vs Trish one, and the prison one. Rest suck and the one with Sparda’s students/disciples was disappointing. At least they could have gave Dante one new devil arm to style with. Wish it was based on the first or third game.

The ending was shit.
It was also on part to when he was emo as fuck too which was bad, at least we got introduced to some of the important people from the story but the delivery of the end was a bit shitty.
