He works well with every character, and makes the story interesting just by being there. He's quintessentially Dragon Ball, it wouldn't work without him.

True underdog. Just a scrub copying his favorite martial artists and trying to pick up chicks. The way he eventually became more humble after fighting stronger fighters, while retaining all of his style, was very interesting. This applies to most side-characters, but I hate the way he recognizes his weaknesses but he still can't do anything about them. It's depressing as fuck, and it's even worse when you realize his last good fight was against a fucking saibaman, barring some otherworld filler.

Very fun, I liked the return to reality-bending physics that we had in early DB. The dynamic of a cocky kid with no eyebrows casually performing otherworldly feats and making up moves on the fly while he styles on his opponent is easily one of my favorite concepts from Dragon Ball. I hope he does something interesting in Super Hero.

I will almost certainly regret trying to actually discuss Jiren, but what honestly were they thinking with this character? They couldn't even be bothered to give him some kind of backstory or defined personality. Not to mention his boring ass design.

Good reasons. The slapstick comedy of the Buu arc was a bit out of place, in my opinion, but at least it was funny. That bit where Gotenks has that little squad meetup with all the ghosts, funny shit. Even as a Piccolobro I don't mind the volleyball bit because it was funny.
