If dinosaurs and dragons exist in the same setting, should they be related?
If dinosaurs and dragons exist in the same setting, should they be related?
If they’re lolis,sure.
I love loli dragons.
No. Dinosaurs are tetrapods. Dragons are hexapods. So they're not going to be closely related.
Unless you want to go with the Pterosaurs are Dragons but that doesn't seem right since pterosaurs were hairy.
There's also the 4 limbed Wyvern approach, but they aren't true dragons.
You ignorant fool
Dragons are related to salamanders
Wrong. Actually flamingos are the closest related to dragons and are dragons since they are the only creature that deals with high temperature.
no dinosaurs are sauropsids
dragons are synapsids
secondary characteristics like scales are not always good indicators when it comes to phylogenetics
I want to share with everybody that Young Earth creationists say that nearly every culture having stories about dragons is proof that dinosaurs and humans coexisted. This doesn't contribute anything meaningful to the thread. I just think it's funny. That and the OP image is something YECs use unironically and it reminded me of this.
>if god is real, ancient humans were playing real life ark
its not fucking fair.
some stupid cavey got to ride a dinosaur and i dont.
It should be noted that a majority of Christians are not creationists. It's just a few protestant denominations like baptists, puritans, and quakers who believe genesis is meant to be taken literally.
