If 5th was a super genius why did he entrust his diary to a parcel service? Those fucks are just as likely to destroy it on accident as a diary user figuring out who he was (at which point he’s fucked because pretty much all of them besides first would kill him in a heart beat and he’s a defenseless kid).

Seriously I never got this. At the very least third and ninth had their diaries activated and after first killed third and was told about the game it was clear the rest at least knew what was going on, why keep first in the dark about it all? And how did first even survive in the original timeline anyways since in the current timeline he needed second to save him from third at the very start?
It was probably one of the few lessons his parents taught him (that delivery people can be trusted). Alternatively, maybe his parents used to be deliverypeople themselves?
Maybe 1st-world Deus was more than partial to Yuki and let him luck into the final battle. We only ever know 2nd- and 3rd-world Deus.

Sure Yuki could have made his own reality but the reality he wanted to save was doomed from the start no matter what and his only motivation (to bring back all the people who died because of the game) was rendered meaningless. Hell anyone who would have won would have ended up in a similar situation as him except for maybe the lovers, dog guy, and child genius. The cult leader is the only one who would have been happy with the way things ended up since she wanted to destroy everything anyways

Who would have created the best universe if they won? We saw first and seconds and they both sucked, sixth would have just let the universe end and left it at that which blows. Third, fifth and tenths would probably be shitty too.
