Why does nobody talk about Innocent and Innocent Rouge?

It's legitimately confusing to never hear anyone talk about Innocent and Innocent Rouge. Considering how Kentaro Miura's art is held in such high esteem, I'm surprised that Shinichi Sakamoto's art, which feels as though it's of a similar caliber in terms of detail and tone, gets completely ignored. I respect Miura's work a lot, but I'd love to hear some talk about other works like Innocent.

And some more art as examples.

I only had read Kokou No Hito, amazing manga btw, one of my favourites.

No moe, loli, shounen, or isekai enough

Berserk only had loli by my estimation, not sure what you're getting at.

we have daily threads you cocksucker

His art has virtuallly no soul, it's all just a heap of digital mess

because its just photoshop with barely any drawing.

Its finished and we only discuss about #DRCL

Berserk is hard shounen

Ah, so that's the reason Any Forums has decided this series is unworthy. That just about explains everything.

You all are entitled to your point, and I've seen the videos that you guys are referencing. However, as someone who draws myself, I have to say that's kind of bullshit. You simply just can't 'photoshop' to get that level of anatomy and detail. Sure you can reuse assets, like swords or hair segments, but those are going to need massive redrawing every time to be in perspective and to match the line weight of the composition. I'm personally fine with it, especially because these digital techniques allow him to finish his chapters faster and therefore actually finish his manga, unlike Miura.

It's seinen, not shounen

Anons do talk about his work often, but they are usually in general manga or seinen threads as opposed to threads specific to his works. Also the tracing and other shortcuts can make the art look artificial or even off-putting despite the technical quality. And he’s not as brilliant a storyteller as Miura is, of course.

Yeah, not enough angry men to be relatable to these audiences.

Kokou No Hito has just the right protagonist for (of age) Mongolian basket weaving aficionados. Solid 9/10, many people have it as their favorite for good reason. Innocent and especially Innocent Rouge are understandably more divisive.

real talk

marie joseph was an horrible mc and character

Go on, elaborate

her personality is annoying and she herself is an uninteresting edgelord, charles was WAY better than her

I don't really care about the methods behind it, I just think his art is ugly and unappealing.

>uninteresting edgelord
She literally keeps the plot moving singlehandedly and embodies the spirit of the revolution.

and thats why Rouge fucking sucks

It's finished and there's not really anything to say
it was pretty but the story was a mess, half the interesting points in part 1 got dropped
The shoujo hallucination chapters were kino though
