I mean, he's a tough guy, he's gruff, he's emotionally closed off. He's distrusting and has a dangerous gleam in his eye. None of this really indicates a social disorder. There are literal hundreds of characters just like him in comics, films, even other anime with similar personality traits, the vast majority of which don't get this sort of treatment. He gets along with the other Crusaders just fine after knowing them for a few days max. Same principle applies to the residents of Morioh and the Green Dolphin Gang. I realize that autism is obviously a spectrum and not something black and white, but as someone who's on it, I feel like Jotaro exhibits far too much ease integrating himself within entirely different social groups to be autistic. It's just headcanon, but some people really do believe that Jotaro is actually autistic and is emotionally closed off because of it, without basically any significant proof.

If the 'ADHD was a desirable trait among ancient hunters' theory is true, I'm sure autism can serve a purpose. Maybe it's necessary to removing empathy.
