Their relationship would have actually made sense if Sasuke were a girl. And the romance would have been believable too.

It was anticlimatic. You can't have Sasuke go full edgelord only to relent at the end. The final fight only existed because people built up hype for so long. After Sasuke joined the war and said he wanted to be Hokage he shouldn't have declared he was going to kill the Kage and enslave the bijuu to become an evil dictator. It just made him comically evil to the point there was no longer any nuance.

The wrap up/last 2 chapters were good, but the bulk of the final arc was laughably bad. Still, could’ve been worse. Could’ve been SnK or Jojolion.
