This. I don't like Isidro either but he is just another slightly annoying joke character like most of the team that's following Guts by now. Schierke is what changed the story as a whole. There isn't even any legit threat anymore which was some of Berserk's strong points. She is such an overpowered magician and healer and she knows almost everything and every secret of the world you cannot even enjoy the exploration anymore because she will just outright explain most shit and save the day.
It also clashes hard with how Berserk depicted the world at first, especially for children. The contrast between Schierke and the characters from the Lost Children arc is unfathomable. The story went from some almost cosmic horror story to a literal jrpg in which magical women and love can save the day with some shiny spells.

The thing is that I would have enjoyed her as the psychotic villain girl in any other series. But in this case her existence wrecked the entire anime and turned it into a shit show. Cute, but Schierke is too powerful. It stopped being a character-driven story where the apostles became real monsters because of their traits as humans and some tragedy and became a cheap fantasy series where Guts fights Ogres and Pirates and little loli pulls him back from the edge when he gets too mad. He doesn't even have to solve his internal struggles anymore since a magical girl with a crush saves him every time.
