Thankfully not me, but some people in my company get transfered sometimes to a branch in a neighbouring town around 1 hour away and they commute. When I said it sucked and I couldn't do that I was considered lazy. This culture of treating your work like it's the thing you live for and how it should overwrite your entire life is cancer.
