What was the point of introducing the lower moons if they were immediately all killed off next?
Should the main three have taken down a lower moon themselves without needing Giyu/Shinobu nearby to bail them out rather than immediately go to the introduction of the Upper 3?
Kimetsu no yaiba
I want to breed this demon.
Basically to show that Muzan is a retard and ultimately deserves what he gets.
The point was to show the beginning of Muzan's retardation due to seething over Tanjiro. If he kept them alive or even tried to replace some of the Lower Moons after they died, Muzan most likely would have won over the pillars & demon slayers like usual. Him getting mad and killing potential assets makes his downfalll way more believable in hindsight.
>What was the point of introducing the lower moons if they were immediately all killed off next?
>Shounenshit.
It's the fast food of anime. Full of plotholes, unclosed plot threads, etc. Don't try to understand it. Just see flashy anime fight moved and shut your brain off. That's what you're dealing with. It's not complex story writing. Don't let the zoomers here convince you otherwise.
The author clearly never intended for the series to last long, didn't know how to write a long-term serial or was simply caught in an endless loop of escalating things to justify earlier escalations. All rushed plot developments including this one can be traced to the point the final arc of the series started in Chapter 13. Once you skip right to the final boss, wasting time on all these random demons becomes hard to justify, especially when the Spider Mountain arc showed us that Lower Moons are total fodder to Pillars. Spider Mountain showed us the non-Pillars were irrelevant and the Lower Moons were irrelevant so Infinity Train had to throw all that out to show us that at least Upper Moons were still relevant. And then it had to use the next arcs to bring our heroes up to Pillar-level even though it had just eliminated the one justifiable way for them to naturally progress to Pillar-level (by hunting Lower Moons) and so we just get giant ten-on-one fights instead.
Your average shounenshit would have made the MC go through several lower moons though.
Her getting killed off is the show's biggest crime.
Oh, it gets so much BETTER
>Muzan kills all Lower moon
Suddenly, he found himself so completely short of elites he promoted a Lightning disciple to upper moon despite being less than 5 years in service. LMAO
Muzan is a retard
This author is a retard
thanks for the spoilers, faggot
Subverting the expectation by having the villain killing a bunch of useless jobbers.
Literally what Aizen should have done with most of the Espada instead of letting weak shits like AARONERO, yammi and Lerolux jobbing around
To have that trope where the bad guy kills his own underlings to show that he's really bad. The killed lowers mostly had shit designs anyway, nothing of value was lost.
She probably never even actually came up with designs for 4/6 of them until after she decided to kill them off, and so gave them quick boring designs just for the one scene they were gonna be in.
I really had to think hard as to when this character appeared (I figured it out) but it really shows how pointless that was.
My guess is the author was originally planning to do a much longer series, but at at least two different points, for some reason or another she said "fuck it, we're just gonna wrap all these plotlines up at once and be done". First time was killing off four of the six lower moons before they got a chance to do anything, second time was having Muzan and all 3 UMs defeated at once in a single arc.
I'd fuck Nezuko
Like said, other shounen would extend the story for longer run, or even introducing new enemies/faction out of nowhere
(Bleach, even the manga feels like anime filler)
I feel that the author have good idea on creating fighting scene and character personality, but terrible on planning long arcs and secret organization stuff.
But, the author seems to notice this too, so she choose to wrap the plot quickly. In short, I think she choose to make short but satisfying story rather than long and too many filler
>Less than 5 years
It was less than a year lol. Yushiro told it to Zenitsu that he was unaware of his powers and would have lost their match if it happened one year later. Although imo Chadnitsu would have still won it
Lower moons can't even hold back a pillar for a second. They would have been useless.
In the fortress he had hordes of lower moon level demons and they accomplished nothing.
To give a contrast between Ubuyashiki and Muzan and show how shitty Muzan is.
While Muzan was a seething retard, he was a retard in that he didn't try to actively bolster his ranks with upper moon level freaks rather than for getting rid of the lower moons.
After all, he buffed a shit ton of demons to lower moon level at the end of the manga to fill up the infinity fortress and they were still shitty fodder.
