Because it went from being a cool SoL with interesting worldbuilding and a detective subplot showing the underlying darkness of the world's society to... catching and releasing the same bad guy several times in a row before finally morphing into the shittiest battle manga of all time.
At least the final chapter was nice.

Well for one they do fuck all with the titular Beastar job. There should have been a straight plot pipeline from the highschool arc ending to legoshi becoming or at least trying to be in the running for Beastar status. instead the second half revolved around a fucking fruit.

Read Beast Complex, and you'll understand how it plays perfect on the strengths of the author. She was made for self contained stories and developing a setting, not running a major story arc.

That sounds like what I wish this was. Is it something that she said she wants to keep adding stories to or is it officially over?
