Is it really that bad?

Is it really that bad?

Yes

Yeah, it is.

The animated movie was better

I liked it
Granted I saw it when I was like 10 so it could have some nostalgia influence.

But I have watched it plenty since and still like it a lot.
The movie has it all. Action. Romance. Family drama. Philosophical/moral debates. On screen violence. Invisible dinosaurs. Robots with laser beam eyes. Voice actors giving it all. And a brief shower scene.
And of course seeing a man catching and breaking a fucking axe with his teeth. ALL in a quick 1hr package.

What's not to love.

Oh wait, this WAS the animated movie kek. Never seen the cover before, I liked it

it's crap, but it has its moments, like Heihachi catchng an axe with his teeth then crushing it

are you thinking of the CG movie? Or the "tekken comic" manga by that guy who made Cynthia - the mission?

I saw the CG movie. Aside from the animation and one good fight scene, it was awful.

Anna being the villain when she's actually the good sister and Nina is the horrible bitch is shit.

It was decent IMO.

Comparing Tekken: Blood Vengeance and Tekken: from the Creators of Baby Geniuses, it was at least funny.

I thought they were both horrible bitches

They were never good people. They're assassins.

I thought the live action movie was okay. It was cheesy, but had good fight choreography and Shang Tsung.

Still better than kimetsu no yaiba

Well, it's no Street Fighter.

The live action movie remind me to those cheap karate movies from the 80s and 90s. Considering those movies are my childhood, it was comfy

Doesn't mean much in the context of vidya. Anna's largely bitchy towards her sister and even then tried to help her out while she was amnesiac. Nina abandoned her kid and murdered Anna's fiance.

Bejitabro btw

I'll never understand why Tekken, or any other fighting game for that instance, doesn't make for an automatically good adaptation. Literally all you need to do is have good fight scenes and a bit of lore for some fanservice. That's it.

Only Street Fighter II The Animated Movie was good. Both Street Fighter Alpha and Street Fighter IV OVAs were awful. At least the USA Street Fighter cartoon was funny bad.

I'd comment on Street Fighter II V, but I haven't seen it yet.

the game is shit as well

>good fight scenes
And there's your problem

There's a reason that as far as I know, the only well-regarded fighting game adaptation is the Street Fighter II movie
