Why do Americans constantly make the worst design changes to covers possible?

Because burgers have no souls. Which ones are even the American ones, the middle? Are right what you think they should look like?

It comes from being an increasingly mongrelisedd race with no coherent racial soul.

communist influences
read about "cultural marxism" if you have time

Americans unironically no taste for aesthetics. Just look at how they design their cities, their suburbs and how ugly comic books are. Aesthetics are one of the many reason why japanese media is so preferred nowadays to american shit.

Because burgers have to localize the shit out of everything and shoehorn their own layout etc. so signalize how retarded they are

>england straight up skipping a volume of a manga
What the fuck

also because america is dominated by soulless corporations that push designs made to appeal to the lowest common denominator. It has always been like this since a long while ago, the only thing that changes is the current soulless trend they use.

There’s plenty of good examples of American aesthetic styles albeit usually older ones. I’ve always loved mid-century modern houses and old southern plantation style stuff

Because they think very one-dimensional and capeshit fried their brain to the point where they unintentionally make everything look like soulless grab. It's no wonder that MHA covers are still somewhat faithful to the original

Which one is supposed to be the American one?

WMAN

What did they mean by this?

ソーマン

Don't know, ask Fujimoto

they meant
>CHAINSAW WOMAN

middle one

It's actually better than the original because the "W" letter works well as a reflection of the "M" letter. The original reads like this "Chenso Soman"

You have failed to consider the possibility that the japanese create terrible covers.

I don’t get what’s wrong with the Frieren one.

>if you have time
I don't

The problem is that they don't.
As you can see from the image, the French version keeps close to the original and looks much better.
American one meanwhile changes everything entirely

The american Chainsaw Man version is kino

Seethe

Fuck you

in chainsawman's case, I can see why they went with what they did. The way the og font is written isn't convenient for making merchandise. This is why you'll always see IPs meant to push tons of merch having their logos fit neatly into a rectangle. Of course, they still could've done a better job with designing the logo though.

american soulless posters and covers are known worldwide
its as known phenomenon as british "food" being shit
google some movie poster comparison, how they were original and how they looked after being americanized
Leon is such a sad example
